I am pleased and proud to announce that one of my works Anable Basin will be on exhibition from October 27th to November 17th 2013 at the Gallery Brooklyn in Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY.
Anable Basin was one of the lucky winners picked from 1,900 entries submitted to the Curate NYC 2013 competition. The image was taken last year in Long Island City on a tiny little inlet called Anable Basin right next to the Long Island City Flea Market on 5th Street and 51st Avenue. The details are below, just click on the link:

  1. Hi Cate, if only I could visit the exhibition! your photo is fantastic. The colours among the grey make it all stand out. Thanks for including the link.

  2. An outstanding photo for the exhibition and a great illustraion of Cate’s wonderful photography. The beauty and simplicity of Anabel Basin is presented in stunning contrast; emphasizing interplay between black and white and muted tones. Stunning!!
Congratulations!!!! The best is yet to come!

  3. Cate, this is wonderful news! Cheers to you! Anable Basin reflects, to me, a merge of past and present New York City. It is quite an intellectual image that conveys urban decay and renewal, strongly emphasized by your rendering.
