_dsc2629-copyRecently I was reading a thread on the Stock Imaging Forum on table top still life photography and I thought I would give it a try.  Armed only with my Sony A300, on camera flash, tripod and overhead lighting I attempted to create still life.  Not to sure what I was doing or how to start I just photographed what was at hand in my bedroom. Knickknacks and little things like that,  arranging them on top of my roll-top desk and using the curtains and an old red velvet blouse as back drops.  I started a little theme called “stepping out” with a vividly decorated ceramic high heeled shoe.  A busy little shoe who is always on the go.  In the photo on the left the shoe is going out for Asian Cuisine. There is also a spooky little Mardi Gras mask and a very regal cat queen. I hope you enjoy my first foray into table top photography. Stay in focus,

Cate
