My friends and I decided to brave the twenty degree temperatures yesterday and took the Metro North Rail Road up to Cold Spring, NY. We then boarded a trolley car (paying a princely sum of Ten Cents!! ) which took us to the Boscobel Mansion a 200 year old mansion and estate once owned and built by Morris Dyckman in 1808. Photographs were not allowed to be taken inside the house but I took a few of the beautiful Federal style architecture and the grounds around the mansion. We also stopped along the Hudson River to capture the incredible scenic views of West Poit Military Academy. Enjoy.
